REGINA AFROFEST 2014: A DREAM COME TRUE

The summer of 2014 marked the first ever Regina AfroFest. It all started as a dream by a small group of like-minded individuals in Regina. A grant from Saskatchewan Arts Board was the breath of life that set forth the process of transforming this dream to reality. With Jump.ca coming aboard as the presenting sponsor and with support from various individuals, volunteers, other support groups and our generous sponsors, Regina AfroFest knew no bounds… well, you know what followed.

Many thanks to our sponsors and support groups & organisations, and to everyone who came out and helped make 2014 Regina AfroFest a fantastic and memorable festival. Merci beaucoup!

2015 Regina AfroFest is already on to a good start. Thanks to our new partners Tourism Saskatchewan and artsVest, and our returning sponsors Saskatchewan Arts Board, SaskTel and Affinity Credit Union who have already confirmed their support for AfroFest 2015. We are working on putting together an exciting cast of artists, performances and vendors to make 2015 an even more electrifying festival.

Stay tuned for more details!
